This Eastern Screech Owl is a great example of camouflage in the animal world. I think his eyes give him away in this picture, if they were closed he would be almost invisible against the tree bark. Even with his eyes open the further you moved away the harder it would be to see him. You can see a larger version of the photograph and find out more about it HERE.
