          New Harry Potter Book

          Image via Twitter HERE

Have you heard? There's going to be a new book about Harry Potter!!

The book will be released on Harry's birthday, the 31st of July 2016. It will be different to the other books because it won't be a novel, it will be the script of the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts I & II, in book form. The play opens in London the day before the book is released. As you will imagine A LOT of Harry Potter fans in New Zealand, and around the world, will not be able to go to London to see the play, so although it's not the novel we might have all wished for, at least we'll find out whats happened to Harry after he's left Hogwarts.

I've adapted the above information from HERE and HERE - where you can also go to find out more.

                  Back to School 2016

                  Image from HERE
Welcome back to school for 2016. I hope you had a great time over the holidays and that you've been enjoying the sunny weather we've had recently. I also hope you found time to read some good books! If you think any would be great additions to our library then please come and tell me all about them or add a sticky note to the Book Wishlist 2016 - just in case we haven't already got them!

This week in the library I'm updating the classroom lists and adding new students to the library database so that you're all in your correct classroom for 2016.

Next week things should be back to normal, with new books on display and the library will be open for classroom visits and during most lunchtimes.

                  See you soon.
