World Book Day 2020

To help celebrate World Book Day 2020 today I've added some links to book and reading activities and videos.

Storyline Online - A children's literacy website that streams videos of actors reading stories HERE. Mainly picture books.



Author Matt Stanton has daily readings on his YouTube channel HERE. His stories are humorous and have been compared to Diary of a Wimpy Kid.  They're pitched at 7-11 year olds.


Oliver Jeffers is posting a book reading daily on Instagram HERE, and afterwards you can find them on his website HERE.


Jarret J. Krosoczka has a cartoon drawing session daily on YouTube HERE and you can also find them on his website HERE.

The Great WellingtonNZ Brick Challenge

If you love LEGO and are up for a challenge check out the Great WellingtonNZ Brick Challenge. Of course if you're a LEGO fan you may already know about it and be building your masterpiece already, however I found out about it via the Stuff article HERE. The article features an entry by Chris Lepper, a working model of the Wellington Cable Car.
